Participants : This information session invited faculty members and some doctoral level students from Yonsei University.

Proceedings : The Information Session consisted of a presentation by Dr. Rhee Hokyeong who is one of the founding members of the DAAD Seoul office, and a member of the staff at the institution. As part of the ASEMUNDUS, the DAAD Seoul Office and Dr. Rhee prepared a thorough presentation on the structure of the Erasmus Mundus and actual application procedures. The relatively low participation rates of Korean students compared to other nations were addressed. The specifics of the administrative procedures were explained in detail for the audience.

Many of the faculty and students present at the information session had already both participated in the programme’s selection process, and had previous knowledge regarding Erasmus Mundus. Due to this fact, more specific parts of the application procedures were addressed instead of general questions. The specific rules and regulations regarding the awarding of academic degrees and cooperation between participating consortium members were discussed. Students also proceeded to question the presenter regarding the time of stay In Europe at each college and the rules involved with them.
