Program Objective and Description :

In recent days, we observe the development of EU policy. In various fields including where we assuned that member states could hardly agree because of their different situation such as social policy, immigration policy. In Korea also, immigration and social bipolarization are already big issues, so we want to have an implication from European case. In these fields, we, as Koreans, are much interested in their development and application, especially social security policy and foreign policy. Additionally, Korea and EU just signed the FTA so we want to investigate more deeply its consequences and the development of relationship of two parties. And finally we have a great interest on the North Korean nuclear issue so we are expecting the role of EU in this matter.

In these days, Korea is entering into the multi-ethnic society which is very new for Korean people, and additionally the immigrant people

So our association will do a research of EU policy especially in these three fields and we will discuss with other experts these topics.
